To all my pals at the Middle-Earth Roleplaying Wiki! I'm thinking of making some kind of game; I'm not sure if it's a roleplaying game, a table-top game, or a computer game yet: Probably the second one, but I'll work on it.

Anyway, I'm trying to figure out the factions of it; I'm gunning for an even division of good and evil factions, and I'm hoping I got it right, but I'm not sure.  Wanna see what I got so far?

Good factions:

Elves:

Composed of High Elves and Silvan Elves, the Elves speak Sindarin and though not numerous, they have a high percentange of powerful soldiers and excellent range with their arrows.

Men of the West:

A term for all Men who are under the King, this includes Gondor, the Grey Company, Bree, and even the Shire.  Their language is Westron and they are the largest good faction, and they have some well-armored soldiers and excellent seige weapons.

Rohan:

People of Rohan are not many, but they are fierce warriors who ride upon horses.  Their language is Rohirric.

Dwarves:

Though uncommon, they are heavily armored and heavy on attacks, Dwarves speak Khuzdul.

The Wild

Mainly composed of Ents and beasts, the Wild is a small but powerful faction.

Evil Factions

Mordor:

One of the largest of the evil factions, Mordor has Black Speech as the main language; extremely numerous, their standard soldiers are weak but they have some stronger Orcs and Black Numenoreans.

Harad:

A powerful evil faction, they some of the toughest standard soldiers of any evil faction.  They have command over the land and the sea. They speak Haradaic

Isengard:

A small but tough evil faction, Isengard has strong standard soldiers and most speak Dunael or a form of Orcish with Dunael lone-words.

Rhun:

Rhun is a large evil faction with huge fleets of chariots and wagons.  They speak Rhunic.

Goblins:

A large evil faction with many weak standard soldiers, they are still a menace to Middle-Earth with their swiftness.

So, should I add or eliminate any factions? Whatever the case, the number of good factions should be the same as evil factions.  I'm a little iffy about the Wild and Goblins, to be honest.  Sometimes I think that one might as well give 'em to Elves and Mordor.  What do you think?

Depends on which time period you choose I guess... check out the page scenarios I already tried to flesh out the 3019 setting. On military I've tried to collect Army types and units fromj various games and backgrounds for extended ME.Maybe you find some inspirations?--Haerangil (talk) 16:28, January 8, 2015 (UTC)
