Urzog the Impaler was one of a long line of rulers of Gundabad descending from Skorg of Angband.Despite being a giant brute of an Orc and a brutal raider, Urzog was one of the less prominent Orc-Lords of the North, being loyal subject to the great Ashdurbuk Gorkil.He didn't achieve any great deeds in his time and would have been forgotten by history, as most orcish chiefs, hadn't he been the father of the infamous Azog the Slayer and grandfather of Azog the Defiler.
