Sulam was an ancestor of the Khandians. With Father Urd, he was awed by Morgoth and his servants. He quickly began to side with the Great Enemy and allied his tribes to Father Urd's tribes. Together they, along with the Orcs and forerunners of the later Petty Dwarves--would help in the construction of the Black Temple.
Sulam led his troops to war in the Battle of Palisor, and eventually, his descendants would further move down the map and into the very lands of later Khand.
