Orodravath (S. "Mountain lions") were very powerful and elegant creatures, smart and keen. They were agile hunters that usually killed large animals, such as deer, moose, elk and bighorn sheep. Natural enemies included other large predators such as bears and wolves. They prefered areas that had heavy brush and rocky places to stalk their prey.
Mountain lions were usually tawny to light-cinnamon in color and varied in size and weight, with males being larger than females. Adult males might be more than 8 feet in length and weight an average of 150 pounds. Adult females might be up to 7 feet long and weight an average of 90 pounds. The lions had a long tail, which might measure one-third of their total length.

The Mountain lion is based on the Puma pardoides or Eurasian puma rather than the american mountain lion or Cougar.
