- It is unknown if Morlammen of Tol Buruth was identical with Morlammen of Minas Falath. If so, Morlammen might have become an Undead or used Morgûl-vampirism to stretch his lifespan until he became a mortal Ghoul – similar to Gollum, Malezar, Krûsnak, Maben, Urzahil and other semi-undead.
- It is also possible that Morlammen II was a descendant of Morlammen I, whose family was said to have been a clan of traditional servants of Sauron.Morlammen may have been a common name in their lineage.
