Kedin

Kedin was an Avar, son of Melin, who had met the first mortal men who settled the western coasts of the Rhûnaer. He taught them many things, among them the sad tale of his father Melin and Fala, daughter of the Volcano. Kedin died during the turmoils at the end of the first Age, but his legacy lived on in many folktales and an old scroll which had been kept sacred by the folk of Dorwinion.
