The Herimundi were a number of northron clans inhabiting the Warnelanth in the southern parts of the Northern Anduin Vales.They originally belonged to the same stock as the Woodmen of Rhovanion and by some still were considered a tribe of the woodmen, though in contrast to the Witumani or proper woodmen, they never lived within the deep forest.
The Herimundi suffered deeply from Orc and Troll raids and became a violent and brutal culture and finally allies of the Necromancer of dol guldur.They, along with slaves and Thralls, made up the greatest part of the mannish populance of western Dor Guldur.
