Heb Ârân (D.S."Place of Gold" or "Golden Place") was tucked beneath the steep eastern face of the Ered Harmal. While often dominated by the Khey of nearby Khey Sârt, it was a distinct forest region populated by Khyan-speaking woodsmen. The area's warm, clear waters were renowned for their medicinal value. It's largest lake, the Khyasrân, was the largest hot spring in all of Endor (measuring an astounding fifty miles in length).
