Galadhlaewbalan in the Moors
Galadhlaewbalan (S."many trees of the Vala") was a Township in the Girithlin Highlands of Minhiriath.It lay in the central highlands about fifty miles eastwards from the Ethir Baranduin.The town had a quite large populatin of 4,900 in TA 250.However it's population declined after the mid-Third Age and the settlement was eventually abandoned by TA 1640.

Original form: Galathlilval = Galadhlaewbalan
In the 2012 version of his article Population and Urbanization in Eriador, Thomas Morwinsky uses the name "Galathlilval" for a settlement on the Minhiriath coast previously named "Linnuis" on some maps while he does rename the former location of "Galathlilval" as "Cithrenor" (published in Other Minds Magazine #13).
