Bolingúl (Or./B.S.? "?") was an orcish captain and slasher of the Snaga and Uruk warband that Frodo and Sam had joined in orc-disguise. Mistaking them both for deserters, he pressed them into his service, and periodically jeered at his soldiery, before they were ambushed by Gordmúl’s troop of Black Uruks from Barad-dûr, allowing the Hobbits to escape.

While in the books the leaders of the Orc-troop are described as Uruks, Bolingúl rather seems to be a taller lesser Orc in the movie trilogy. He and Gordmúl, who appears as his chief, seem to be of the Morannon Orc or Gusmuras type.
