Erland the Foreigner
Erland (N.: "Foreigner") was the ambassador to King Bard Bowman representing the men and women of Laketown. He saw the Men of Dale as friends and family rather than allies, which although admirable, would have placed him at a disadvantage if the politics of court became more complicated and Machiavellian than they usuallyy were. He later became an advisor af king Brand of Dale. He also travelled to Imladris to take part on the council of Elrond accompanied by Hugin, Ottar and Jarnsmid.
