Eivan (del.: "One beloved"?) was a young man of Esgaroth and the twin brother of Kornvin. He and his brother lived and fought together. Together, they led a group of men to explore the Greenwood, but that was when they ended up in the wrong place during the time when Sauron, disguised as the Necromancer, had settled in Dol Guldur and turned the Greenwood into Mirkwood. While trying to find their way back from where they came, Eivan and the entire group were killed in an ambush by the Great Spiders of Mirkwood, and only Kornvin was able to survive.
