Drartûl

Drartûl was an orcish rank for a lesser Chief or officer.In the military organisation of Gorgoroth and Dol Guldur the Drartûl or Dûrukhtair was a rank similar to a Captain or Major in charge of a company of about 100 warriors.In Gundabad and Angmar Drartûl indicated a far lower rank, a sergeant or second lieutenant who led a lurg of about 10-15 fully trained soldiers, a rank that would have rather been called Uyâk or Karg-Kragor in Mordor and Korlagzgrim-Gottul in Mirkwood.
