Dol Duniath Surroundings
Dol Duniath (S."Tower of the vale-fence"; Hi."Cnocc Glennfál") was an ancient fortress in northern Rhudaur. It sat upon one of the higher foothills of the mountains and could only be conveniently reached by way of a road that spanned the southern valley.
