The deep-toad was a nearly mindless creature home to some of the deeper caves beneath the misty mountains, particularly moria.Though it could grow to unusual sizes it was generally a harmless animal, and the number one prey for many of the underdeeps inhabitants, including some of the greater lizards and spiders.However Touching the toad could have side effects which included dizziness, visual hallucinations, decreased inhibition, and other neuro-psychiatric symptoms.
