A Curug ("Man of Cunning") was a Wizard of the Umanyar (the Sindar and Nandor). A female "white Witch" was known as "Curus" or "Curuwen".
Some specialized Orders of Cyryg were also known as "Weather-masters" and "Lightbearers".
