Abân was a Haradrim warrior of Near Harad. He was the son of Hâshim and Sumayyâ, and the brother of Hârith, Ubâdah, Mâzin, and Yusrâ. During the War of the Ring, he, along with his clan, sided with Sauron and took part in many offenses towards the southern lands of Gondor.
